| Eloise marveling at the piles of gifts that awaited us under Nana and Papa's tree! |
| But before digging into Christmas presents, we dug into a delicious Christmas dinner that Nana prepared! |
| Getting ready to open presents! |
| So excited! (Eddie too, despite being a stinker and refusing to smile for this pic!) |
| Eddie got a new book and made Papa read it to him immediately |
| Eloise practicing jamming on her new headphones :) |
| Avalon hanging out with Uncle while checking out her new origami kit |
| Later in the evening, while the little kids played with new toys, the grown-up kids were treated to a home version of "Deal or No Deal" that my mom prepared for us as a means to "win" Christmas money, up to $500! SO MUCH FUN! |
| Game Show Host Nana taking a call from The Banker on her banana telephone. :) She really pulled out all the stops in recreating the game, including sound effects cued up to play on her phone! |
| Shaun having fun during his turn. ;) In the end, he accepted a "deal" for $126, I took a deal for $148, and Jesse gambled bigger and won bigger with a $220-something deal. Each game took about an hour and it was soooo fun! My mom has come up with a lot of fun stuff like this to do on Christmas over the years but I think this was my favorite! |
| The girls woke up the morning after Christmas begging to go in the hot tub! |
| Meanwhile, Papa tested out Eddie's new ginormous building blocks |
| :) |
| First pic of the kids and I taken by a drone! (Well, that I know of anyway. :-P) We spent a lot of time outside watching Shaun and Jesse fly their Christmas presents... until Jesse lost his in a tree. LOL! |
| After a couple days at Nana and Papa's, it was time to come home and get back to enjoying the presents we left behind too quickly on Christmas morning! Eddie might have had a little help from Daddy in creating this Play Mag masterpiece! |
| The girls tried their new "Dollie and Me" outfits on themselves and their dolls |
We made some fantastic memories this Christmas and are soooo appreciative of all the wonderful gifts we received. It was a blessed end to a blessed year, and 2017 is shaping up to be even better. Stay tuned!
